Roseville Club to Host Tennis Championships

Roseville, CA - President's Day weekend will be in full swing at the Johnson Ranch Racquet Club in Roseville as the United States Tennis Association (USTA) NorCal Junior Singles Championships will be taking place over the three day holiday from Feb. 13-15.

Placer Valley Tourism is excited to be teaming up with Johnson Ranch Racquet Club again to bring one of the biggest and most competitive junior tennis tournaments in Northern California to Placer Valley.

More than 250 boys and girls in age divisions 12, 14, 16 and 18 will be competing in singles tennis matches at this championship.  Players from all over Northern California including the Bay Area, the Central Valley and Northern Nevada will be traveling to Roseville for this event.

"Since this a USTA sanctioned tournament many of the top players from the state will be here competing; the competition will be top-notch at a great facility," commented Chris Bacharach, Tennis Director for Johnson Ranch Racquet Club.

The first serve will be swung at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13 and games will continue throughout the long weekend well into the evening each day of the tournament.  The final matches deciding the NorCal Champion in each age division will take place on Monday, Feb. 15.

There will be an on-site cafe and barbecue available for purchase during the tournament so come on down next weekend to the courts and see some amazing tennis matches.  Johnson Ranch Racquet Club is located at 2600 Eureka Rd. in Roseville.
