Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Lake Tahoe Serves Up Fun Experience
South Lake Tahoe, CA / Stateline, Nevada- Serving up positive vibes with rock n' roll energy, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Lake Tahoe is a must stop for visitors and music fans making their way through the South Lake Tahoe area.
This gaming resort which opened in 2015 includes entertainment, lodging, food and fun all wrapped around seven decades of rock n' roll memorabilia. The super friendly staff (thank you Jennifer!) helped us quickly check into our room as Jimi Hendrix's Purple Haze blared in the background. While soaking in the tunes, iconic rock n' roll visuals surround you. Good luck trying to keep your eyes from constantly wandering in every direction.
From a beautifully framed Grateful Dead Blues for Allah poster or sexy outfit worn by Christine Aguilera on tour there is plenty to see whatever your musical stripes may be. With a nod to Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson, The King and the King of Pop are also represented here. Each floor on the hotel offers a unique visual surprise upon your exit. Our inner-child couldn't pass up the opportunity to visit every floor in the hotel, so we did. To avoid angering other guests, we recommend this activity during the slowest time of the day.
The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino boasts over 500 rooms in addition to the vibrant gaming floor, restaurants and shops. Our room had spectacular and panoramic views of the lake and mountains. All the staff we encountered during our stay were welcoming and enthusiastic.
There's always so much to do at Lake Tahoe and the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino was the perfect place to stay following an afternoon at Sample the Sierra Wine and Food Fest.
Be sure to take advantage of the Lakeside Beach pass access. A beautiful Lake Tahoe beach well worth a visit. We made our way over just before sunset to watch the sun slip below the mountainous horizon, snap some pics and relax.
The new Hard Rock Hotel & Casino at Lake Tahoe is a worthy addition to the South Lake Tahoe area. Offering much more than gaming, it really is a fun place to experience and an easy place for us to recommend during your next visit and stay in Tahoe.
