Roxanne Snyder, “Outstanding Rotarian of the Year.”

2006-2007 ROTARY CLUB OF ROSEVILLE BOARD MEMBERS BEGIN NEW TERMS – 2005-2006 OUTSTANDING AWARD WINNERS ANNOUNCED

( Rotary International's District 5180 Governor DG Dee Fairbanks presents the Rotary Club of Roseville's "Outstanding Rotarian of the Year" Award to Club member and former President Roxanne Snyder during a recent awards ceremony at Sierra View Country Club in Roseville.                               

 

WHAT: The Rotary Club of Roseville recently elected a new Board of Directors and Service Committee Chairpersons, for its 2006-2007 Club year.  In addition, 2005-2006 term Board President Michael Dockery presented special awards for excellence during his term.  Roxanne Snyder was named the Rotary Club of Roseville’s “Outstanding Rotarian of the Year.”  Additionally, perfect meeting attendance awards were given to 32 active members – including two who have reached 59 years of perfect attendance:  David Fiddyment and John Piches. 

WHO:  The following volunteers will lead the Rotary Club of Roseville members to implement community service and philanthropic work through June 30, 2007.

  HOW: In addition to swearing in the new Rotary Club of Roseville’s Board of Directors, the 2005-2006 President Michael Dockery also presented special awards for outstanding contribution by Rotary members during his term.  Among the award winners: 
• “Outstanding Rotarian of the Year” – Roxanne Snyder
• 32 Members Received Perfect Meeting Attendance Awards – two of which (David Fiddyment and John Piches) have maintained perfect attendance in Rotary for 59 years.


WHERE:          The Rotary Club of Roseville meets at Sierra View Country Club,
                         Alta Vista Avenue, Roseville, California.

WHEN: The Rotary Club of Roseville meets every Tuesday afternoon from 12 noon – 1:30 pm.  Guests are welcome to join the Rotary members for the Tuesday luncheon programs.  Seating is limited and RSVPs are encouraged to ensure reserved space.

WHY: Rotary International is a humanitarian service organization focused on fulfilling community needs at both the local and international community levels. Rotary programs are far-reaching and encompass a wide variety of local concerns as well as international issues such as hunger, health, and education.  The Rotary Club of Roseville is a member Club of Rotary International’s District 5180, and is dedicated to philanthropy, community leadership, and service activities that benefit individuals, organizations and programs within Roseville, California, as well as nationally and internationally.
