Leaps & Bounds Rabbit Rescue Grand Opening Sept 27

Posted on: Tuesday, September 09, 2008 - Press Release
RSS Feed  Print version     Local Events Need a Job?

Leaps & Bounds Rabbit Rescue, Inc., a newly formed 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, would like to request your presence at our Grand Opening event which will be held on September 27, 2008, from the hours of 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the PETCO store located at 1917 Douglas Boulevard, Roseville, CA  95661.  As part of the activities at this celebratory event, we will be having a ribbon cutting ceremony, rabbit petting stations, a silent auction, as well as games and prizes.  We will, of course, also be providing the opportunity to adopt a rabbit!

Leaps & Bounds Rabbit Rescue, Inc. was founded by three individuals: Kim DeWoody, Nola Williams, and Linda Hark.  This group was founded because each of us cares very deeply about rabbits and their well-being.  Our primary focus is to enhance the lives of rescued rabbits in need by providing shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, socialization, and retraining as necessary while they are in foster care, with the ultimate goal of finding them permanent homes.  We would also like to empower the citizens of Roseville and other surrounding areas to get actively involved in their communities by encouraging volunteerism, whether it may be with this rescue group or any other organization in need of assistance.

Leaps & Bounds Rabbit Rescue, Inc. is also a proud PETCO Adoption Partner and PETCO Foundation Charitable Partner and we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Roseville PETCO and to the PETCO Foundation for all their support and assistance.
If you would like to attend our Grand Opening, please respond with your attendance to Linda Hark via an e-mail to the following address: linda_rabbitrescue@yahoo.com

If you are unable to attend this event but would still like to make a donation to our organization, please detach the form below and send a check or money order payable to:
