AUBURN, Calif. – PEACE for Families of Placer County will host its third annual "Have a Heart for PEACE" gala on Friday, Feb. 12, at the Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln. Placer County Sheriff Ed Bonner and KCRA news anchor Edie Lambert will serve as masters of ceremony.

The gala will be an elegant evening of dinner and dancing in order to raise funds for PEACE for Families, which provides emergency shelter, counseling, education and other services to thousands of victims of domestic violence and sexual assault throughout Placer County each year.

During the event, Placer County prosecutors Suzanne Gazzaniga and David Tellman will be honored for their work in fighting against domestic violence and sexual assault throughout the community.

“We’re looking forward to another elegant community event that’s a great way of supporting PEACE for Families and honoring advocates such as prosecutors Suzanne Gazzaniga and David Tellman,” said Michelle Coleman, executive director of PEACE for Families. “The money raised from this year’s ‘Have a Heart for PEACE’ will help us continue our mission to end domestic violence and sexual assault in Placer County.”

The “Have a Heart for PEACE” gala is from 6 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person.  The Catta Verdera Country Club is located at 1111 Catta Verdera in Lincoln, Calif.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available. For more information on tickets or sponsorship, contact Laura McNicholas at (530) 823-6224.
