Roseville Police officers have arrested three teenagers suspected of firing a BB-gun at a group of high school students.

At 3:39 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, Roseville High School officials notified police that someone was shooting a BB gun at a group of students.  The victims were standing on the sidewalk in front of the gymnasium on Alta Vista Avenue. The BBs were fired from a residence across the street from the gym.  At least five students reported being struck by BBs, although none reported serious injuries.

School officials and officers investigated and identified three male suspects,  two current RHS students and one former RHS student.  The investigation resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old male from Roseville  on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy, and contributing to the delinquency of minors.  He is being held in the Placer County Jail on $25,000 bail.  A 16-year-old male and a 15-year-old male were also arrested on aggravated assault charges and taken to Placer County Juvenile Hall.

In addition to the criminal or juvenile justice process, the Roseville High School District will also hold the students accountable to California Education Code and district discipline policies.
