Part of The Cesar E. Chavez Higher Education Speaker Series ROCKLIN – Does an African American President mean an end to racism? This question will be one of many addressed at an open forum discussion on the historical, socio-political and cultural transformation of diversity in America. The forum will be held at the Sierra College Rocklin Campus in the Dietrich Theatre on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. As part of The Cesar E. Chavez Higher Education Speaker Series, this forum is sponsored by the New Legacy Committee, Associated Students of Sierra College, Equal Employment Opportunity Advisory Committee and the Civility Project Committee of Sierra College. A distinguished panel of speakers will include: * Dr. Jack Scott, California Community College Chancellor Opening remarks will be given by Dr. Reyes Ortega, Chair, New Legacy Committee. The program will be moderated by Superintendent/President, of Sierra College,Dr. Leo E. Chavez.
