ROCKLIN, CA – William Jessup University's annual Spring Concert will be held on March 18 at 7:30 p.m. in the university’s Academic Warehouse. Designed to appeal to a wide range of audiences, the event is hosted by the university to showcase the talents of its entire music department.

The university’s Community Wind Ensemble will open the concert that later features the University Choir & Orchestra who have released their brand new CD recording titled, “A New Song” and will perform various selections from that recording. CD’s will be available for purchase.

Student soloists will perform a mixed selection of Broadway and classical music. A Rachmaninoff piece will be placed by multiple pianists; first, on two pianos with four hands then two pianos with eight hands.

A small chamber size choral ensemble known as “The Way” will be performing approximately four to five songs consisting of a mixed repertoire including classical, jazz, and a capella literature.

Music Department Chair, Tom Ruscica explains, “This evening will be a testament to WJU’s music programs’ breadth and depth as it reveals the tremendous talent and range that we cover.”
